Congratulations to Paradise Attorney, Tom Baker, Tom was elected as the 2019-2020 President of the Rotary Club of Paradise at last weeks club meeting.
Tom has been a member since 2003 and has served on the club’s Board of Directors, as a Team Leader and numerous other committees and positions. He volunteers setting up flags on the Skyway during Veterans holidays, cooks burgers in the Rotary booth, and coordinates music and musicians for various nonprofits in town and truly lives the Rotary Motto of “Service Above Self.
Although Tom will not actually be president of the club till July 1 2019 he will be attending several training sessions to learn more about leading a Rotary Club and preparing his Rotary Staff for his presidential year. In all being president of the club is a three and one half year commitment. Tom follows Lauren Gill, Town Manager and current club president, and Brian Gray of Gray Matter Computers, 2018-2019 club president.
Pam, Tom’s wife is a retired PUSD elementary school teacher. The couple have 2 children and 2 grandchildren.
