The Paradise Rotary Foundation awards five hundred dollars to Paradise Recreation and Parks District.Shown here Lauren Gill, Paradise Rotary President and Dean Fender, President of the Paradise Rotary Foundation Board presented the check to Dan Efseaff, the District Manager for the Paradise Recreation and Parks District (PRPD) at a recent meeting of the Paradise Rotary Club. The money will provide scholarships to youth in the area who cannot afford the fees to participate in some activities in the district.
The Paradise Rotary Foundation is the non profit arm of the Paradise Rotary Club. The club and foundation in recent years usually donates over thirty five thousand dollars per year and countless hours of service to the community. The seventy plus member club provides service to both our local community and world through “Service Above Self” and meets every Thursday noon at the Lutheran Church on Skyway just above Terry Ashe Park.
